We turn ideas into products you can hold.
We are a product design and development studio in Bengaluru. Since 2013 we have taken hardware the whole way from a first sketch to finished production, with the whole team in one place.

One team, start to finish.
A lot of products stall in the gaps between design, engineering, and making. We do not really have those gaps. Everyone who touches your product, from the person sketching it to the person sorting out suppliers, sits in the same office. So the work keeps moving, and nothing gets lost in a handoff.
What we do
Six things we do in-house. Hire us for one of them, or hand over the whole project.
Why teams work with us
One studio that takes hardware the whole way - so nothing gets lost between design, engineering, and the factory.
One team, one roof
Design, engineering, and manufacturing sit together in Bengaluru. No handoffs between three agencies who never meet.
Engineers who ship
We design for real tolerances, real factories, and real cost - not just renders that fall apart in production.
From sketch to supply
Concept, CAD, prototype, validation, and pilot runs. Hire us for one step or hand over the whole thing.
Honest about cost
We protect the BOM and the timeline without ever letting the product feel cheap. That balance is the job.
Industries we work in
We have built products for clinics, cars, connected homes, and shop shelves.

Medical / Electronic Devices
Diagnostic and electronic medical devices, built for reliability, real-world use, and the paperwork regulators expect.

IoT Devices
Sensors, gateways, and connected products, built around power, antennas, and what actually happens out in the field.

Consumer Goods
Everyday products where the feel, the price, and the first impression decide whether they sell. Built to hit a cost without feeling cheap.

Automotive Engineering
Vehicle components and subsystems, built for weight, heat, vibration, and the standards the industry runs on.

Furniture
Furniture that balances form, comfort, and making it for real. Designed around actual materials, joints, and flat-pack shipping.
How a project works
A clear path from a rough idea to parts coming off a line - with something to react to at every step.
01 - Discover
We dig into the problem, the users, the constraints, and what a win actually looks like - before a single line is drawn.
- Stakeholder & user interviews
- Requirements, constraints & success metrics
- Technical and manufacturing feasibility
02 - Design
Form, ergonomics, and CMF worked out as concepts you can hold and react to early, not at the end.
- Concept sketches & form studies
- Ergonomics and human-factors review
- Colour, material & finish direction
03 - Engineer
The concept becomes a buildable product - mechanical, electronics, and simulation, drawn for real manufacture.
- Detailed mechanical design & CAD
- Electronics and embedded integration
- FEA / CFD simulation and DFM
04 - Prototype & validate
Build it, test it, break it, and freeze the design with evidence - not hope - before you commit to manufacturing.
- Functional & looks-like prototypes
- Test plans and design verification
- Tight build–test–learn iterations
05 - Manufacture
From a signed-off design to parts on a pallet, with the right partners and quality built in.
- Manufacturing process selection
- Vendor identification and audits
- Pilot runs and quality plans
Selected work
A few of the things we have helped get made. Some client names are kept quiet at their request.

A modular smart-switch system built to scale across configurations. A clean look on a manufacturable electromechanical platform.

A retractable SUV awning with an aero deflector
A retractable SUV awning with a curved aerodynamic deflector. Surfaced, engineered, and detailed for an aluminium extrusion system.

A reclining lounger where the mechanism and the form are one
A reclining lounger where the comfort, the line, and the mechanism were worked out together.
Trusted by teams shipping real hardware
“PDD Consult took a rough concept and a hard deadline and gave us a device we could put in front of investors and regulators. They think like engineers and move like a startup.”
“The simulation work paid for itself. We turned up to physical testing already confident, and the part passed the first time.”
“What stood out was how much they cared about cost without ever letting the product feel cheap. That balance is rare.”

“They designed the enclosure, the electronics, and the firmware hooks as one product, so we were not left stitching three vendors’ work together at the end.”
“We brought them a recline mechanism that kept jamming. They reworked the linkage, ran it through thousands of cycles, and it has not skipped since.”
“When our first supplier could not hold tolerance, they found and audited a new vendor and still got us to pilot without moving the launch date.”

“Design, CAD, and prototyping all sat in one room, so feedback came back in days instead of weeks. That pace is why we made our funding window.”
“They pushed back when a decision would have cost us later, and they were right every time. It felt like having a senior engineering team on call.”
